Every neonatal health provider is well educated, competent and skilled in providing quality neonatal care and will advocate for all newborns especially the small and sick newborn and their families.

What is the mission for CoNP?
To strengthen and empower the neonatal nursing workforce via a sustainable, global neonatal nursing community of practice that is committed to advancing education, mentorship, research, advocacy and leadership.
What are the goals for CoNP?
Community: Create a sustainable community of practice to advance evidence-based standardized education, lead and influence quality family centred neonatal care.
Organize: Cultivate a cadre of professional neonatal nurses to develop and strengthen leadership and mentorship skills to achieve and sustain optimal neonatal health outcomes.
Nurture: Accelerate change in the development of the specialization of neonatal nursing.
Practice: Advocate for all newborns especially the small and sick newborns and their families.
